Hi, I’m Claire — the creator and hands behind Macramouth.
Originally from France, I’ve been living in Australia for the past seven years, after a decade of travelling and living out of a backpack.

I’ve always been drawn to creating with my hands. Some of my earliest memories are of knitting with my grandma before I even knew how to read and later teaching my classmates how to make beaded dragonflies to help fund a school trip to Sicily.

Today, that same love for creating has evolved into macramé jewellery and thoughtfully selected supplies for fellow creators.

Each piece is made intuitively, guided by texture, colour, and feeling, and inspired by nature. No two pieces are ever exactly the same, and that’s what makes them special.

While I mostly focus on jewellery, I also enjoy working with larger pieces for special events around Sydney.

Macramouth is a space for women who love to create, express themselves, and surround themselves with meaningful, handmade pieces.
